The Dean's office is responsible for academic, budgetary, and human resource concerns for the Departments organized within the School of Education and Professional Studies. The staff of the office are available to help applicants, students, faculty, and staff as follows.

Interim Dean Niti Pandey

Dean

Niti Pandey Dean Pandey earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an M.A. and B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delhi, India. Dr. Pandey has taught and conducted research in the areas of employment relations (human resource management, negotiation, small group dynamics), corporate social responsibility, and labor relations.
Assistant Dean Chris Drewry

Interim Assistant Dean

Alyssa Gwinnell Alyssa Gwinnell is an Eastern alum having earned her B.S. in Middle Level Education and M.S. in Reading & Language Arts Education in 2003. Prior to that, she also earned her B.A. in English from UConn. Since that time, Mrs. Gwinnell continued her education, earning a Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership from CCSU, completed the Executive Leadership program at UConn, and is currently a Doctoral student at Northcentral University. In addition to her adjunct faculty work with Eastern, Assistant Dean Gwinnell was a middle school teacher and a principal. In 2019, Eastern recognized Mrs. Gwinnell with the Outstanding Leader in Education award and was the keynote speaker at the Graduate Hooding Ceremony.
